Tom was born with 4 kidneys, a condition that only occurs in fewer than 1 in 10,000 people, and he’s currently attempting to walk 1000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats to raise awareness and £10,000 of necessary funds for Kidney Research UK.
Over the last 18 months charities across the UK have lost over 50% of their funding due to the pandemic, and Tom wants to help change this.
Here at Lansdown, we have a history of giving to charities, and as Tom is about to embark on the stint of his journey that runs through our beautiful home county of Gloucestershire, we wanted to get behind him and make a donation of £250.
